Horse on swallow Name: horse on swallow, a sacrificial article in Eastern
HanDynasty(25-100AD).34.5cm in height and 45cm in length it was
excavated at leitai of wuwei in Gan su province and is now kept in
Gansu province museum . It is a rare treasure indeed in Chinese history of sculpture. It
represents the highest art level of the dynasty in the sculpture
history .Three of its hooves are in the air and its hind right hoof
treads on a flying swallow which looks back in horror .The
streamline and the symmetry vividly portrays the competition
between the steed and the swallow who are vying to overtake each
